Children & Youth

We believe that the best programs and services are those that keep children and youth safe at home and in their communities. Whether problems stem from mental health issues, family problems or alcohol or drug use, our caring team of staff can help children and youth through difficult times with the following programs:

Mental Health Programs   
Children and youth can be affected by a range of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, behaviour disorders and stress. We provide:

  • Counselling
    (Anger, Anxiety, Depression, Bullying, behavioral issues, grief and loss, ADD/ADHD, self-harm, sexual or physical abuse, etc.)
  • Individual, family and group counselling
  • Psychological, Educational, OT & PT Evaluation
  • Home-based Intervention

  • Psychiatric Referrals
  • School-based Interventions
  • Education on issues relating to children’s mental health

Addiction Programs
Addiction includes a range of issues such as alcohol, drugs, prescription drugs and gambling. We provide:  

  • Assessments & Referrals
  • Outpatient Treatment
  • Counselling (for the individual and family members)
  • Recovery Support

Specialized Professional Resources:

This access program provides a network of health, mental health and special education services to children from birth to age 18 years. We work with a network of resource and service partners to help address the diverse needs of children and youth from rural and remote communities in the Northwest.
